Love Your Neighbor

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. Galations 5: 13-15

Before Jesus, we had to rely on a priest to go through his rituals of sacrificing a lamb in order to forgive us of our sins. When Jesus came He became the sacrifice and He gave up His spirit so we would have a helper. I don't know about you but there are days I become fully aware I am not a nice human being without the help of the Holy Spirit.

In the above passage, Paul was encouraging the Galations to love one another but also warning them of the effects of biting and devouring each other.

In a world that seems full of so much hate what is one thing you can do today to love your neighbor?
